Jerzy Chrzanowski, Attorney at Law, Patent and Trademark Attorney
as one of the first patent and trademark attorneys in Poland, almost immediately after the political system transformation, in 1991, mr. Chrzanowski founded PORAJ Law and Patent Office, although he had been practicing as a patent attorney and legal advisor for many years. Referring to family tradition, he chose the name of his coat of arms – PORAJ, as the company brand. Poraj is also an ancient name of Old Slavonic origin, which means: Poraj – “let the time of your life be a paradise” or “deal with it, get in order”.
Mr. Chrzanowski loved his job and undertook every task with great commitment. A great strategist… He always had everything thought out and arranged. In the initial phase of the study, he wrote down all the so-called “Unkempt thoughts” on separated pieces of paper, we all know them well from Poraj, then there was the “game plan” and various possibilities at the end of the game… He built his strategies as the best general and always successfully. He was just like that. The best of the best for us. Faithful to your beliefs until the end.
He created his Work by surrounding himself with a group of trusted people, his friends. It was an honor to be able to work and be with Him. We will never forget our first meeting and the passion with which he spoke about intellectual property. It made an amazing impression on us to such an extent that it paved our professional path. He was a great mentor for many of us and a model for us on every aspect of life.
